Why did the British fans boo the American national anthem in the Mayweather vs Hatton fight?
and i thought we americans were the rude and arrogant ones.
we dont boo "God save the queen" or "Oh Canada."

I didn't see the fight so I can't comment as to how bad it was. I'm English and I can honestly say that if they did boo the American national anthem then they've acted disgracefully.
It seems to be a common theme at the minute, I've heard mention of similar things happening during international football matches. Sadly, it seems that as our nation drags itself in to the gutter at home we also seem intent on making a disgusting spectacle of ourselves worldwide.
I would like to add that in general the English are usually quite polite and respectful, so please don't judge us too harshly because of the conduct of a few drunken sports fans.
